This summer, Korea Inequality Research Network joined the 7th conference of the Association of Korean Sociologists in America (AKSA), which was held at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia on Aug. 10, 2018.

AKSA is a non-profit organization to support academic networking especially for sociologists in the U.S., and has organized annual conferences one day before the start of the annual meeting of the American Sociological Association (ASA).

At this year’s conference, 23 studies of diverse social inequality issues were presented and discussed under the topic of “Voices and Silences in Inequality Research.”

Attached are the photos and program of the conference.
