In this presentation, ‘survey data integration’ was defined as “combining separate sample surveys into one survey vehicle.” Statistical methods for the data integration and their limitations, along with the examples of actual research using the methods were introduced in the presentation. Survey data integration is a new area of research, expected to maximize the survey information as well as to minimize the cost and respondent burden for surveys.
