To address this inquiry, the study analyzes student and parental data from the PISA (OECD’s Programme for International Student Assessment) 2015, which provides comprehensive information on early childhood care and education experiences. Drawing from these results, the study discusses the significance of disparities in early childhood education experiences, as an initial indicator of class-based differences in parental support for their children’s education.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Colloquium in February 2024 Haram Jeon (Professor, Department of Education, Chonnam National University, South Korea) To explore the implications of disparities in early childhood education for later educational inequalities, this study investigates the relationship between students’ academic achievements, their family backgrounds, and their early childhood education experiences.
